Tom Rosenthal

20 year old Tom Rosenthal burst onto the comedy circuit just over 12 months ago, and with his whimsical, high-energy act, and warm, likeable persona - has become a firm audience favourite within a very short space of time. Son of sports presenter Jim Rosenthal, Tom is currently studying philosophy at King's College London.

Suzy Bennett

Suzy Bennett was winner of the Funny Women Awards 2006 and featured as one of the 'Top 10 Up and Coming London comics' in Time Out, The Stage, The London Lite. You may recognise Suzy after her recent appearances on the Channel 4 Series "The Diets that Time Forgot", GMTV, The One Show and also Richard Bacons Radio Five Live show.

A regular on comedy scene around the country, she has appeared on stage with Jo Brand and Jan Ravens, featured on a comedy podcast on The Sun website appeared with Jimmy Carrs' Gag Reflex our as well as featuring on his Comedy Idol DVD. Her infectious and sassy humour provides audiences with plenty of belly laughs.

Rik Moore

Rik Moore got into comedy whilst at Birmingham university, and by the time he graduated in 2000, had reached the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards, So You Think You're Funny? and The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards. He won the Comedy Store's King Gong in October 2005, was in the emi-finals of the 2007 Laughing Horse New Act comp, and made it into the 2007 Best New Acts Showcase Final at the Comedy Cafe. He has also performed at the Channel 4 Media planning awards 2007, compered the Planet Rock Radio 2007 Christmas Party at the Islington Academy and had a blink and you'll miss it appearance on NBC's Last Comic Standing '07. He has co-compered the Round Table gig in Covent Garden, in summer 2007 was stand in compere Wednesday Night Fever at Lee Hurst's Backyard, and made my MCing debut at the Comedy Cafe in July 2008. Currently, he one of the egular
comperes at the Bath House in Soho.

Sara Pascoe

Sara Pascoe is good at competitions, she came third in So You Think You're Funny and second in Funny Women 2008, and has previously won Electric Mouse's New Act Competition.

Sara performs as characters including Mrs Noodie the female detective, A Viking, Freud, Tinsel the surrealist musician and Philippa Bird Philosopher, in addition to straight stand up. Sara also appears on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Canal Cafe Theatre with The Institute comedy impro group

Sketch shows include Newsrevue 2006 and 2007, Shakespeare for Breakfast Edinburgh 2006 and 2007, Breakfast Bedlam, live! Edinburgh 2006. TV comedy includes various roles on Pete's PA for living TV and pilots for MTV and SO Television. Sara also appears in sketches on www.comedybox.tv and writes regularly for Newsrevue and The Treason Show and has a sitcom, The Good Guide, currently in early production after reaching the finals of the sitcom trials at The Soho Theatre.

Brett Goldstein

Brett Goldstein is an actor and a writer who turned to stand up because he was bored of depressing people through plays. "If I could depress them through the medium of laughter..." he thought, "that would be something...

Brett arrived onto the comedy scene with a bang in 2006. Since then he has been a finalist and semi finalist in every major comedy competition going. In 2007 he was selected to appear in the Comedy eserve, the Pleasance's "Best of New comedy" showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In 2008, he appeared in three different shows at the Edinburgh Festival, including compering that year's Comedy Reserve.

Brett is currently gigging all over the country, from Brighton Sidesplitters to the Covent Garden comedy Club.

He is now the resident compere at The 99 Club on Thursdays, for Trevor Lock's Philosophy Society.

Nick Helm

As well as being a stand up comedian Nick is also the writing/directing element of BAD ASH Productions. He is currently hard at work writing his first stand up show for Edinburgh as well as his new play A Third of The Way Done. He is currently Co-running and Compereing A Night At The Dogs, a fortnightly Comedy and Cabaret Night at The Space Theatre on the Isle Of Dogs and is a regular on the London Comedy Scene.

Helen Huscroft

(Mc)Helen has been performing stand-up since 2007 in various venues round London and the South East. She was a finalist in the Reading New Act Competition 2007 and 2008 and the Newbury New Act Competition 2008 and a Semi Finalist in the Laughing Horse Competition 2008 .
